2025 Hurricane Parking Process
Clearwater Marine Aquarium (CMA) are introducing a refined Hurricane Parking Pass program. The new process is as follows:
*Key Changes: *
- No lottery will be held.
- 100 Parking Passes will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis.
*Eligibility Requirements: *
- Applicants must be Island Estates residents.
- Applicants must have both a valid CMA and IECA membership through November 30th of each year.
*Application Process: *
1. Residents must contact Ann Clark, CMA Membership Manager, via email (aclark@cmaquarium.org) or phone (727-441-1790, ext. 2229) to request a pass.
2. Resident eligibility will be checked for both CMA and IECA membership eligibility.
3. If memberships are not up to date, residents must renew one or both memberships before qualifying for a pass.
4. Once memberships are verified, the CMA Parking Agreement will be sent to the member via Adobe DocuSign.
5. The member must complete and sign the document.
6. Upon completion, a logoed Hurricane Parking Pass will be sent to the member via email.
*Important Notes: *
- Members must contact the CMA Membership Manager for a replacement pass if they purchase a new vehicle.
- Vehicle information appears on each numbered pass and must match the vehicle parked in the garage with the pass displayed on the driver's side dashboard window.
- A spreadsheet with pass holder information will be shared with relevant CMA personnel and parking garage management.
By following this refined process run by CMA, we aim to provide a more efficient and streamlined experience for Island Estates residents seeking Hurricane Parking Passes.
